ImageSilo - Changing Migration Format

In this article we will discuss how to change the format of your migration from ImageSilo.

First you will need to login to ImageSilo with your Administrator account.

Then click on your name at the top-right and then “Administration”.

Once at the Administration window you will need to click on the Entity Properties button located in the top-left.

Then on the right side you will see the following information:

In the middle underneath Migration Jobs you will see various Migration settings that you are able to configure.

  • Uncompressed Data Groups - will give you a datagrp.xml file and folder with images that is full sized and not compressed at all

  • Zip Files - will zip everything into a compressed folder that will need to be extracted before being used

  • Package Files - will zip everything into a .PVPKG file with is a Digitech compressed format that can be imported directly into other Digitech products, or unzipped and extracted with WinZip or 7-Zip.
