ImageSilo - View Security Reports

In this article we will review how to generate and view Security Reports within ImageSilo.

This can be used to view information on individual users or groups and their specific memberships and permission settings.

First you will need to login to your Entity with an Administrator account.

Click on your name in the top-right and select “Administration”.

Once the Administration window opens, on the left-hand pane select “Reports” and then “Security” to get to the Security Report generation page.

Once the “Filter Report” Window appears you can use this to select your criteria for the Security Report. From here you can select entire Groups or individual Users.

Simply select the “Type” from the “Report Type” dropdown menu and then check off the checkbox for any user/group you wish to generate a report for.

Once you have your desired Users/Groups selected click the “Save” button at the bottom to begin generating your report. This may take up to a few minutes depending on how many users/groups you are trying to report on.

If you selected a Group to run a report on you will see the following options:

• Members

• Security Access

• Doc. Security Levels

• WorkFlows/Worksteps

You can navigate through these options with the tabs at the top, and also change to any other group you may have selected to run a report on from the dropdown list after “Group Security Info for”.

If you selected a User(s) to run a report on you will see the following options:

• General

• Member of

• Security Access

• Doc. Security Levels

• WorkFlows/Worksteps

We find these reports extremely helpful if you need to look at a specific user’s group membership, which can be found under the individual user’s Security report under the “Member of” tab.
