Before we start take note that deleting an index field will cause all indexed data for existing documents will be lost.

Like all indexing related options we will have to navigate to the Administration window.

After logging in the Administration option can be accessed by clicking on your name in the top right and choosing Administration.

Expand projects and select the project that needs index fields deleted.

On the right select which index you want deleted and press the red delete button at the top.

A pop up should appear warning you that any data stored in that index field will be permanently deleted.

Confirm that you want to delete the index.

If multiple indexes need to be deleted:

  • Adjacent indexes can be selected by selecting the initial index and then shift clicking the last index.

Make sure users refresh to see the changes that were made.
