PaperVision Enterprise - Subscript Out of Range

In this article we will discuss the "Error: -28000 Description: Subscript out of range" message that can be seen when importing a datagroup into PaperVision Enterprise.

This can occur at any point during the data group import and we have seen this happen right at the start of the process and also at the very end.

This error usually occurs when there is something wrong with the index fields of the project you are importing the data group to, most likely a mismatch between data types or values in the datagroup vs the project settings in PaperVision Enterprise.

If there is no data present in the project, delete the project and re-import the data group. The project and index fields will be created to match the data group that is being imported.

If the project does contain other data groups, double-check the import data for any invalid characters in the indices or any possible index field mismatches.
