Paperflow R80 - Incorrect Document Count

Paperflow R80 has introduced a new bug that does not update the document count properly. Digitech is aware of this issue and has stated that this issue will be corrected in the release of Paperflow R81. Until then, please follow these steps to correct the issue.

Files you will need...

  • .PVCSINFO file

  • .PVCSBATCH file

  • .PVCSLOG file

Locate the directory of the DataGroup

The first thing you will need to do is locate where the datagroup is being stored. After locating the DataGroup file path, you may proceed to the next step...

Check the ".PVCS" files

  1. Once inside the data group file path, locate the (datagroupname).PVCSLOG file.

  2. Review the log for any document deletions and creations and take note of how many documents are actually supposed to be in the data group.

  3. Once you know the correct document count, proceed to check the (datagroupname).PVCSBATCH and .PVCSINFO files.

  4. When checking these files, confirm the doc count in these files are correct, if not, update to correct count.

  5. After corrections have been made, close the data group and reopen to update the changes you made.

  6. Doc count should now be updated and correct.
