Root Element is Missing When Opening/Locating Batch
Description
Users may start to experience an error message while attempting to Open or Locate a batch within PaperFlow.
The error message will say something along the lines of "Root element is missing."
This will happen when opening/locating a batch and then close PaperFlow immediately afterwards, preventing the user from doing anything.
Resolution
This can occur because of some corrupt or malformed files within the user's local PaperFlow folder. To resolve this issue perform the following steps:
Completely close and shut down PaperFlow (May need to use Task Manager to kill the task)
Navigate to C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Digitech Systems
Locate the folder labeled PaperFlow
Rename the folder "PaperFlow.old"
Re-launch PaperFlow and batches should now be able to be located/opened with no issues
The renaming of the folder will cause the folder to be re-created when launching PaperFlow and correct any issues with the internal PaperFlow files.
