ECMT - Workflow Admin Terminology

A workflow involves two or more people and involves document review and decision making by those people within one or multiple departments of a business. A workflow includes any number of steps and may involve manual or automatic actions based on a previous step and/or data values setup with the document. ECM Toolbox Workflow allows parallel work instances to allow two people to review and work on the same document, at the same time.

The Inbox and GroupBox are show as items under the Workflows tab on the left menu. Also, each Workflow name defined is shown on the left menu. Like Inbox and GroupBox, clicking on a name will display the documents in that workflow that the user is entitled to see.
