ECMToolbox Workflow Adminstrator Guide
Welcome to ECM Toolbox 4, your new Workflow manager that provides solutions to workflow needs associated with your document management solution and business process workflows.
ECM Toolbox 4 provides a powerful set of tools to you, and your system administrator. With a fast and intuitive interface, ease of use, and flexibility to give you the best experience in handling business process workflows from data entry, review, to approval of invoices, documents, and HR onboarding/Record Keeping.
This guide’s purpose is to instruct the workflow administrator to:
Connect the workflow system to the DMS software.
Define workflow users and groups and their privileges.
Define document workflows to route documents among users.
ECM Toolbox Workflow is installed on a server and accessed by the administrators or users using an Internet browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.
The ECM Toolbox Workflow User’s Guide instructs users in the interactions with the workflow system. They see the results of the document flow established by the administrator. The most common interaction is reviewing documents.
Depending on the amount of customization done for your organization, there may also be additional Guide(s).
Note: This guide assumes that the ECM Toolbox Workflow has already been installed and configured. The configuration is also an Administrator’s role, but usually must be done once as part of the installation.
