Kofax-Fatal Database Error - Database is not Open

Summary
You receive the Fatal Database Error - Database is not open error when trying to create a batch in Batch Manager.
Answer/Solution
This error can be caused by insufficient user permissions to the CaptureSV share directory or the Publish.mdb file is corrupt.
To resolve this issue, ensure that the logged-in user has Full Control permissions to the CaptureSV share and CaptureSV folder. Navigate to CaptureSV > PubTypes. Locate the Template folder and verify the Publish.mdb file is not corrupt. In some cases the file may not exist or even the Template folder. Replace the Publish.mdb file from another environment on the same Kofax version. If entire folder is missing create a new folder and rename it Template. Add the new Publish.mdb file in the Template folder to resolve the issue.
