To obtain additional volume temporarily, you can use a temporary license Activation Code. Follow these steps to acquire it:

1. Visit the Kofax website and navigate to the 'Request Temporary Kofax Capture Activation Code' page to fill out the necessary form.

The temporary Capture Activation Code can be requested for several reasons:

• Volume Increase: If you've exhausted your current volume and need an interim increase to maintain operations until you can purchase more. Note that the temporary code's page count is calculated based on a week's worth of volume for each license. For instance, if your annual allocation is 52,000 scan images, the temporary code will grant you an additional 1,000 images (Total annual volume divided by 52 weeks).

• Date Rollback: In case of receiving a date rollback error (8064: "The date on the license server has been rolled backwards."), this code helps you to continue operations.

• Evaluation Date Extension: If you are using an evaluation copy of Capture and require an extension of the evaluation period.

• Move Software License: When you need to transfer your software license to a different system.

Important Note: Ensure you select the exact version matching your installed version of Capture. If the versions don’t match, the temporary license won't function.
