Summary

ApplicationXtender - Attempting to uninstall patch fails and displays error "Filename: redirection.config Error: Cannot read configuration file due to insufficient permissions"

 

Resolution

Log in to Windows as the account 'Administrator' and then perform the uninstall of the patch.

*Note; logging in as an account with administrator privileges is not sufficient, and the actual 'Administrator' account must be used.

 

Cause

Caused by a known product defect not yet addressed.
