ABBYY Service running but not Processing

You may encounter a scenario where the Windows Service is running your ABBYY Services but you are not seeing any results. This may be because the Processing Server Service has Stopped.

To start the Processing Server:

  1. Launch the Processing Server Monitor by selecting Start → All Programs → ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Servers → Processing Server.

  2. On the server tree, select the Server and notice the Status is Stopped

  3. Right click and Start or select and click the Play button on the ribbon above. After a few moments, the Status will change to Running.

One of the reasons the Service could have stopped could be due to a change in the license; either an upgrade or otherwise. Be sure to confirm the Processing Server is running after any license changes to ensure smooth a transition!
