The kickoff field’s value will be examined to decide if a document is ready to be kicked off (admitted) into
workflow or ignored, based on the given criteria.
Navigate to Administration tab on workflow on the left menu and click Workflow Setup.
Select the workflow and click Design.
Click on Workflow Kickoff Settings tab.
Select Field as the kickoff option.
Select the field to use as the kickoff field, preferably WF_STATUS.
Specify the start value to trigger the kickoff, and a value for workflow to update the field once
kicked off. This will indicate that processing has started for this document.
Specify the check interval in seconds when the system should check for new documents.
Click Save
