In this scenario, Paperflow may come into issues with the settings that is in the filesystem. you will get an error such as Root element is missing, it is a simple and easy fix
Solution from Digitech
1. Shut down PaperFlow completely (make sure it’s also shut down in the task-tray and task manager)
2. Navigate to C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Digitech Systems\PaperFlow folder
3. Backup the UserSettings folder to desktop
4. Rename the UserSettings folder
5. Relaunch PaperFlow
