Summary

This article will go over the basic steps to migrate a project from PaperVision Enterprise. The project will be migrated to the local server machine and can be re-imported to another instance of PVE.

Description

Please note: You will need access to the PaperVision Administration Console with administrative privileges to perform these operations.

  1. First you will need to login to the PaperVision Administration Console from the server machine.

  2. Once you have logged in to the PVAC you will need to expand the “Entities” folder, select your desired entity and then expand the “Projects” folder.

3. Next, you will right-click on whichever project you wish to migrate and then select the “Submit for Migration” option.

4. After performing Step 3 you will be brought to a “Project Migration” screen where you can select various options for the migration.

You must enter a name for the Migration Jon and then select your desired options. If you leave the settings as is it will migrate the entire project one time. If you want to set up a migration on a schedule you can do so with the “Schedule” tab. After you have selected your desired settings click the “OK” button to begin the migration.

The migrated project will be stored at this location: C:\PVE\Migrate
