You will need...
- Access to entity you are editing for client
- Admin access to the entity you wish to apply special permissions to
- Username of user you are to apply special permissions
- What projects/documents/special fields that the user will need access to
Steps to apply special permissions...
- Login to ImageSilo Entity to be modified
- Navigate to the specific project you are trying to apply permisisons to
- Enter the search criteria you wish to apply permissions to in the search section to verify that the criteria is valid and documents are returned
- Example Field 1 = Test
- Example Field 2 = Permissions
- Example Field 3 = Apply
- If your criteria is valid you should generate some results when executing the search. If so proceed to the next step. If no results returned, modify search criteria.
- Next click on your name at the top right and go to "Administration"
- You must have Administrator access on the account you are using to proceed
- Create the user requested or confirm the user to be modified
- Expand "Projects" with the folder icon
- Expand the project you are looking to add security permissions to
- Click "Document Security Levels"
- Click "add" and provide a name for the level, be specific so it can be tracked and removed as needed.
- Under "Security Level" check the user to add to this permission scheme
- Under "Selection Criteria" input the same search criteria you used for testing in Step 3
- Example Field 1 = Test
- Example Field 2 = Permissions
- Example Field 3 = Apply
- Check all three boxes on the bottom and click "save"
- Select new level and click "Apply"
- Go to Security access and click "add"
- Click the desired user to add permissions to and then go to "Rights" and check all.
- Click "Save" after you are done
- Verify that the user has the correct access and permissions
