General Properties

The first entry indicates which control you are editing (Survey, Page or Question).

Navigation

In the example above, I chose a Rating question. I then need to choose what qualifier suits the situation and which rating is the operable choice. If needs change, the condition can be edited or removed and additional conditions can be added.

Data

If there are values for questions that are not visible on the survey, the Clear invisible values property will clear these values based on the choice made. The data will not be saved with the survey questions. if you choose “none”, the invisible data will be saved upon survey completion.

The Text Update Mode dictates when the test in the question is updated. It is either “onBlur” which is after the respondent moves to another question or “onTyping” which is while typing.

Navigation

If error checking is turned on, the error can be caught at different stages of the survey. The default is when the respondent clicks the button to move to the next page. You can change the setting to when the individual question response is completed or when the entire survey is completed.

Show on Completed

When the survey is completed, the respondent could be directed to a URL. If so, enter the URL to be redirected. Also, you could navigate to a URL based on a condition. This could be used in conjunction with the Timer property explained next. If the time expires and the survey is not yet complete, the respondent could be redirected to a thank you URL.

Timer

If the survey is to be completed in a given amount of time, enter the maximum time to finish either each page or the entire survey. Choose whether to show the timer or not and where the timer is located.
