SQL Connections defined on this tab are available as connections when configuring Dropdowns and Lookups in both Header and Detail fields.

To create a new SQL Connection:

  1. Name the connection via Connection Name field

  2. Enter the Server and Database

  3. Choose Authentication type

  4. If SQL Server Authentication you must enter a Username and Password.

  5. Click the blue “Save” button

To delete a SQL Connection:

  1. Select the SWL Connection from the dropdown that’s filled with “Choose A Connection”

  2. Click the red “Delete”

To edit a SQL Connection:

  1. Select the SQL Connection from the dropdown “Choose A Connection”

  2. Edit values, and Click the blue “Save” button on the bottom

Pressing the green “Create New” Button will clear our all the fields so that a SQL Connection can be entered, but the blue “Save button needs to be pressed in order to actually save the SQL Connection
