Paperflow - Configuring Scheduling Service

Paperflow comes with an automated service that is called ‘Scheduling Service’. This service can be configured to process various tasks for a large list of batches so that users can queue batches up for processing and can let it run overnight, provided the workstation stays online.

The following steps will walk you through how to configure the Scheduling Service to queue up your batches for Export. Other options can be selected, depending on your needs, but for the following steps, only the Export Action will be selected as the task to be performed.

  1. Launch Paperflow

  2. Click on the ‘Scheduling Service’ tab

  3. Click ‘Add Batch Processing Task’

  4. Select one of the batches that needs to be exported from the drop-down selection labeled ‘Batch’

  5. Under ‘Actions’, select ‘Export’

  6. Click OK

  7. Repeat steps 4-6 until all batches needed are added to the list

  8. To get the batches to start exporting, they need to be queued. To do this, click the Play button for all the batches in the list

  9. You will receive the following prompt that will ask if Paperflow can start the Scheduling Service. Click Yes to allow Paperflow to start executing your Scheduled Tasks

  10. Once all batches have been queued up, all that’s left is to wait until Paperflow has finished processing through the list of batches

Scheduling Service is now configured and your batches should begin exporting per the Paperflow job’s Export configuration.
