Aim 5.8 - Header Fields

ECM Toolbox AIM Module provides an Admin Screen to configure the capture, viewing and editing for the Header and Grid information. The Header and Grid information can be viewed in the Batch Indexing Screen and in the Workflow Task Screen. The Admin Module allows you to point and click to connect to a database that allows the users to quickly capture data.

Note: Always be sure to select the Workflow whose field properties you wish to extend via the “Show Details for Workflow” dropdown.

Header Field Settings

Refer to the table below for explanation of Header field settings

Workflow Field Name

  • Auto generated from ECM Toolbox Workflow, which pulls from ApplicationXtender

Width

  • The width in pixels as it will appear in the Workitems page

Autofill

  • Allows field value to be saved and then auto populate when the Workflow Users selects the Autofill button (see Autofill section below)

Dropdown

  • Create manual list or configure via a SQL table (see Dropdown section below)

Lookup

  • Configure to SQL to look up the field value, a potential second value and then select which fields will be auto populated (see Lookup section below)

Formula

  • Create formula or rules to be calculated

Default Value

  • Set a Default Value for this field

Autofill

This is the end user screen view. When the user selects the Autofill button the configure fields will populate the value based on the last record.

Dropdown

Workflow users are presented with a dropdown of choices. This is configured in one of two ways:

Pre-Defined List
A Dropdown Type of pre-defined list allows the administrator to type in a list of values to be used as dropdown choices.
