ImageSilo - Hiding Columns in Search Results
When searching for documents in ImageSilo many times there are so many fields that the left and right scroll bar appear and index fields are usually hidden away off the right hand side of the screen. For this there is an option to hide index fields that you don’t need to see.
After logging into ImageSilo and searching for some documents in a project or just doing a quick search we get to this screen.
Notice that there is index fields that are going off to the right edge of the web browser. They are not useful index fields to me because they are blank.
To hide them we click on the 3 dots next to any of the index fields and mouse over “Columns”
The image above should show up with all the index field names and checkboxes.
I want to remove all the “someText” index fields, so all that needs to be done is click all the checkmarks that I don’t want displayed.
Now the result screen has taken out all the “someText” index fields.
Additionally this also applies when you click on “Results” at the top.
When clicking results and deciding to save to an excel file the hidden index fields will remain hidden and you will only be pulling information that can be viewed at the search results screen.
This works great for omitting index fields when a report would need to be pulled.
