ImageSilo - Reordering Index Fields

Document indexes can be reordered to show which could put more important fields much closer to the left than fields that are trivial, off the page to the right.

Both an admin and a user is able to make use of this in different ways.

Admin - Admins are allowed to change the default initial order.

Admins will click on their name at the top right and choose Administration.

Expand projects and select the project that you want to reorder.

Once at the window with all the fields listed we can choose Reorder at the top.

On this window you can select the field that you want to reorder and then press the up and down respectively to change its order.

After you are done press Save and have users refresh in order to see the changes.

 

User - Users are also allowed to change the order of the fields but for themselves.

The user would first use search to access the spreadsheet of fields and values.

The user can then click, hold, and drag any of the headers to any other location which they find useful.

The header that is dragged to the location will be added into that area and all values before or after will be shifted to close the gap.

The user can move fields they want to the left if they need to see that more, or move fields they don’t need to the right, off the screen potentially, if the field is not needed.
