Creating Easyfile Baskets

Baskets in Easyfile are objects that facilitate multiple scenarios.

  1. The scanning of documents by one user and indexing by another.

  2. The scanning of a large amount of pages, constituting multiple documents, into one document which can then be broken out when indexing.

Baskets are created in the Easyadmin program. Log into Easyadmin and click the Basket choice on the left.

Click the Create New button and give the basket a name. The new basket will now appear in the list.

The next step is to assign users to use the basket. Click the basket name, then click the Assign Rights button. Check the box next to each user name who will be using the basket and click the Add Selected button.

The basket is now ready to be used when scanning into Easyfile.
