PVE - Generating a Storage Utilization Report

In this article we will review how to generate a Storage Utilization Report for your PaperVision Enterprise Entity.

This report can be used to monitor the storage and space that is being taken up by projects across your entity.

This can only be performed by someone with administrator rights.

First, you will login to your PVE Entity and click on your username in the top-right corner.

From there we will click on the “Administration” menu option.

Once the Administration window opens up we will need to expand the “Reports” menu on the left-hand pane of the window and click on the “Utilization” menu option.

We will then be prompted for a date range to run the report. You can enter a custom date range here, or if you leave the date fields blank you will receive a report for all dates in existence within the entity. This is the easiest way to see how much space everything in your entity is taking up.

Click “Save” after you have entered your desired date range, or left blank.

Your Utilization Report will then be generated in a few seconds!

This report will tell you all sorts of info such as the Full Text Database Size, SQL Database Size, Total Document Storage, and give you a breakdown of storage being used by each project.
