PVE - Adding Project to Favorite Dashboard

In this article we will explain how to utilize the PaperVision Enterprise user web browser dashboard and the favorites functionality.

This can be very useful if you are an administrator who needs to frequently access a small number of projects within your entity, or if you are an end-user that works on a small number of projects within a large entity.

This is a simple but effective way to help organize your PVE dashboard and streamline the user experience!

First, as always, we will start off by logging in to your PVE website. See my screenshot below where I am logged into our testing environment, which as you can see has quite a few projects to choose from.

 

Let’s say for instance there are three main projects that I need to work on in this environment. In this example we will say these three projects are:

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Human Resources

  • Purchase Requests

Instead of having to read through all my projects each time and find the ones I want, there is an easier way!

Simply hover your mouse over the project, we’ll start with the Accounts Receivable, and click the Star icon.

 

After you do this the project will have a blue star in the corner.

Do this for the other projects you wish to favorite as well!

Once you have favorited the projects you want, you’ll notice that in the “Projects” section of your dashboard all of the projects that we favorited are there.

This allows you to quickly access each of these projects instead of having to sort through the list each time!
