How to Migrate files from Syncplicity to OneDrive
Getting Started
To move your files from Syncplicty to OneDrive you will need to copy all files from your Syncplicity local path and then paste it into your OneDrive folder.
Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Users\micatk\Syncplicity replacing “micatk” with your CASO AD account name.
Note: You must use the above path and not the Syncplicity Quick Access link in the left pane or else the file migration will fail.Copy only your account files and not anything that is shared with you.
Your files will have a green check mark
Shared files will have a blue person icon
See Step 5 for copying files with the Shared Icon
Copy your account files to your OneDrive folder (OneDrive - CASO) on the Quick Access bar on the left of File Explorer
Once the files are copied over, it will start to sync to OneDrive. You will know your files are synced when you see a green check mark or blue cloud

See the below steps to copy the shared folders in Syncplicty to OneDrive
Note: Only perform these steps on shared folders that you own.Right click the shared folder > Select Manage Participants > Remove all users the folder is shared with
Note: Take a screen shot of users that the folder is shared with to add those users to the shared folder on your OneDrive.Removing the users will remove the Shared icon over the folder.
Now copy the folder to your OneDrive folder (OneDrive - CASO) on the Quick Access bar on the left of File Explorer
Once the folder is copied over to OneDrive and is synced, right click the folder in OneDrive and click Share. Enter the users email addresses that you want to share with and then click Send.
