This error is sometimes displayed at the ImageSilo login screen when users are attempting to login.

This error is caused when a user has not updated their "Entity ID" field at the top of the login page.

We most often see this occur when a user has their information saved in their browser cache and then the browser history is cleared or that user is logging in from a new/different computer.

If logging in from a station where the fields are not auto-populated the user must manually enter their companies "Entity ID" field before attempting to login.

The default value is "1" and this will be incorrect for ImageSilo users - resulting in the above error.

If you are unsure of your Entity ID reach out to your ImageSilo supervisor, administrator, or CASO Client Services for additional assistanceDescription:

When logging in to ImageSilo, many of the windows, icons and text descriptions are very large, and some elements may not fit on the screen despite meeting the minimum screen resolution (1024x768).

When checked on another workstation, everything looks normal.

Explanation:

This is typically due to a setting added in Windows 7 (and newer operating systems) that displays text and icons in a larger font, to make text easier to read when running a high resolution setting.

To access this setting:

  1. Right-click on the Windows Desktop
  2. Select Screen resolution from the menu that opens
  3. In the “Screen Resolution” window, select Make text and other items larger or smaller
  4. The “Display” window will open, showing three settings: 100%, 125% and 150%.
  5. In order for the ImageSilo website to display as intended, the setting needs to be to Smaller – 100% (default).
  6. Set this to 100% and click Apply. Note that unless the user logs off, the change won’t take effect.

Once the user logs back into Windows, the website should then display normally.

Note: As of version R74, ImageSilo requires Internet Explorer 8 or above. If a user is running Internet Explorer 7, the display of the website will be affected until they upgrade to Internet Explorer 8.
