This procedure will explain the process in splitting batches in Paperflow R80 to make smaller uploads to Imagesilo and exports manageable. |
1.) Import the images from the second document into a new batch.
How to: Create a new batch in paperflow
At the top select import images
Navigate to the original datagroups batch file, normally locate “C:\programdata\digitechsystems\paperflow\batches”
Open the images folder of the batch, find the starting image of the 2nd document and import all the images following it.
2.) Create of copy of the original batch, rename it to be unique and delete the first doc from the new batch.
How To: Navigate to the original batch in the batches folder normally “C:\programdata\digitechsystems\paperflow\batches”
Make a copy of the batch and paste the copy, without replacing the original.
Open the pvcsbatch file of the copy in notepad. Hit crtl + h and find the current name of the batch and replace it with a new unique name.
Save the changes and close the pvcsbatch file
open the pvcsinfo and do the same steps as you did for the pvcsbatch file
Change the name of all of the .pvcs files to the same name you used in the batch and info file
Change the name of the folder (the folder that you were just working in) to match the name you gave the files inside.
In paperflow locate the batch and open it. You should now be able to delete the first document, in this batch, and the second document in the original.
I suggest option two, as it is the quickest way to split the batch.
If you would like assistance in splitting the batch in either method, please let us know. We would be happy to assist.
